first form; intro! {video} (backdated to christmas day)
Hello Route. Look at your Pokemon. Now back to me. Look closely at what's on your screen. It's an Abra!
...why is there an Abra holding a PokeGear. Hmm. Listen closely to the speaker. Verrrry closely. Apart from the squeaking sounds of fresh, virgin snow being trodden on, and happy little "Abra!" sounds from the fox-like Pokemon, there seems to be something else....
Ah, yes. The sweet dulcet tones of one Ise Nanao, who, by the sound of it (if your eardrums weren't blasted by that yell) is chasing after that sassy little Abra who has her 'Gear. That sassy little Abra also jumped three feet into the air, sending the 'Gear flying in a wide arc, and eventually coming to a convienent landing in a nearby tree. All of route is then treated to the sight of a very flustered Nanao wrapped in a rather familiar haori chasing madly after the cheeky little fox. Cue yakety sax.
{ooc: Hello route! Feel free to reply, laugh, troll or do otherwise. :D Replies could come at any time.}

Mmmph!
Abraaaaaa!
[Voice]
{Video}
Aaah! Caught you!
{The folds of the pink haori that look suspisciously like Kyouraku-taichou's rustle as an icy breeze rolls past. She shivers, it's obviously winter here, as opposed to the early summer that she had been pulled from}
Now, where did that go... Hitsugaya-taichou!
{She's searching for the 'Gear now. Unluckily for her, it's halway up a tree.}
[Voice]
And he sees that thing. Did Kyouraku give it to her again? When was she from...he sighs again.]
It's in the tree, Ise-fukutaicho. You'll have to knock it down or climb for it.
{Video}
She'd found the haori in her bag when she was digging through it earlier, in the hopes of finding something to wear over her cotton shihakushou.}
In the tree?
{There are trees EVERYWHERE AROUND HER. She turns in a slow circle, glasses gleaming, searching for the tell-tale red recording light}
My apologies, Hitsugaya-taichou, but which tree?
[Voice]
And it's not like he'd say "follow my voice" anyway.]
Following the noise will lead you to it.
{Video}
And the Abra disappears from her arms, and the subsequent loss of balance caused her to topple over. Again.}
Would you stop doing that?!
{Looking up, she sees it reappear with a shimmer in the boughs of one particular tree.
Hitsugaya, you are now being treated to a lovely view of Abra-crotch.}
What is it? Did you find it?
Abraaa ab raa!
Well, bring it back here.
{Hitsugaya, you are now being treated to a once in a lifetime view of being squished into Nanao's bosom, courtesy of the very silly Abra.}
[Voice]
{Video}
My... apologies, Captain, it seems that this... creature has yet to learn what 'acceptable boundaries' are.
[Voice]
I suppose you'll have to teach him, then. [Provided yours listens any better than his Psyduck.]
{Video}
I suppose I shall. I hope it does listen. It seems smart, but it doesn't want to listen to me, apparently.
{It should be mention that at this point the Abra knows more about the 'Gear then she does, and she still doesn't really know where she is.}
Captain... Do you know where we are?
{She's nervous, and still half-believes that this is some wicked experiment of Kurotsuchi's. Her next words are barely more than a whisper.}
Could I see your face?
[Video]
This place is called Johto. It's nowhere near the Seireitei or the World of the Living, I'm afraid.
{Video} g2g now!
How is that even possible? There are only five planes of existence: The Spirit World, The Realm of the Living, Hueco Mundo, the Space Between Worlds, and the King's Realm. There is no sixth plane or dimension, it's as simple as that.
{She doesn't accept that simple explanation, Hitsugaya. She knows this stuff isn't possible, by any law.}
It... doesn't make sense. This place...
{She stands, shaking her head. She looks so very confused - after all this place defies logic on a regular basis, and she is very logical.}
It can't be real! And yet, I'm standing here, and I know I exist...!
[Video] Catchya later~
Consider it another part of The World of the Living for now, Ise-fukutaicho. Trying to uncover what it truly is won't get you anywhere at the moment. [Anywhere but sick, that is. Cold snow is cold for the rest of the world, and him now. He sighs after a moment. Give her time to think and this is what happens.]
There should be a book among your things that will explain parts of this place, but you should get moving before the weather acts up again.
{Video} BLOODY HTML.
But - that - it - I suppose you're right, taichou.
{Clearly this matter is frustrating to her, but this is not the time nor place to be pondering such an existential question, despite her logic yelling at her that this was not bloody possible. And cold snow is cold, despite the layers she has on. Somehow she had the feeling that life here wasn't going to be a cakewalk.}
Hmm - oh, the handbook. I found it already, but... {Her bag's gone missing} What did you do with it.
ABRA. AB RA BRA.
Clearly you're lying. Get it, please.
{She stands, and the Abra scampers off. She's actually taking this quite well, all things considered.}
One last question, if I may, Hitsugaya-taichou... How far is it from "New Bark Town" to the next settlement? I'd like to make it there before nightfall if at all possible.
[Video] I SAW NOTHING!
{Video} GOOD OR I WOULD SIC MY ICON ON YOU
I had noticed, as the first thing I tried to do was a Shakkaho to try and clear the snow from my path.
{She looks towards the Abra}
I noticed that this Pokemon can apparently use Shunpo or some varient therein to move from place to place. Perhaps it could be of some use...
[Video] O_O /hides from scary icon/
If you can get it to settle down and work with you, perhaps. I wouldn't count on it, though.
{Video} She does scary well, doesn't she?
That's looking like a very rare thing, seeing as it has a habit of disappearing on me. Which is a pity, really.
{She starts off in a vague westward direction, figuring that the Abra will find her, rather than be left behind.}
Where are you, taichou?
[Video] Very well, I daresay.
Violey City. It's nearly two weeks from where you are, with all the snow. [Glance towards the door. Was that...no, just footsteps.]
Matsumoto is here as well.
{Video} Maybe there should be a RAEG post at some point
Two weeks?! {She frowns. Footsteps weren't always good...}
I... know. She's talked to me as well. Have any other Shinigami been here, in... Johto as well?
[Video] Oh, someday for sure~
Or longer, if you're held up in the city between for any reason.
[A moments pause, then a nod.]
Kusajishi-fukutaicho and Gin were here for a time. But they've both gone now.
{Video} Maybe if she catches a Magikarp with a Lazy nature...
Ghhk! ...please, Hitsugaya-san, tell me you're joking.
{She's shaken badly - Kusajishi and Ichimaru-taichou were here?}
Were here for a while..? What do you mean by that, Hitsugaya-san?
[Video] .....that would cause unbridled RAEG in anyone.
You should know I do not joke.
[Calm DOWN, woman. It's fine now.]
Exactly what I said. They were both here, in Johto, but they're gone now. They've somehow returned home to the Seireitei. [...an explanation is in order.]
Everyone in this place has one of these devices. When a persons signal disappears, it means they are no longer here to be contacted.
{Video} I'm thinking of calling it Shunsui...
My, ah, apologies... Taichou.
{And here's a return to the normal honorifics that you're used to! Which is always a good sign that she's regained control.}
Here, then gone? What kind of being are we at the mercy of..?
{She squints at the device - there seemed to be different functions, but she'd never been too good with technology.}
I see... However, I'm afraid that my.. Pokemon, is it? Knows more about the functions of this device than I do.
[Video] Well. At least the name will keep it.....manageable.
{Video} She'll probably take out all of her pent-up frustration on it.
[Video] Would not be surprised~
{Video} lolol do you read the punchline is machismo?
[Video] ....apparently, I do now. Hi, late Fishmas.
{Video} PFFT yes another convert!
[Video] Yes, another convert.
{Video} I'm getting good at that.
[Video] A very nice skill to have~
{Video} ...should I ever wish to start a cult
[Video] People swaying skills aren't just for forming cults.
{Video} but cults are fun!
