first form; intro! {video} (backdated to christmas day)
Hello Route. Look at your Pokemon. Now back to me. Look closely at what's on your screen. It's an Abra!
...why is there an Abra holding a PokeGear. Hmm. Listen closely to the speaker. Verrrry closely. Apart from the squeaking sounds of fresh, virgin snow being trodden on, and happy little "Abra!" sounds from the fox-like Pokemon, there seems to be something else....
Ah, yes. The sweet dulcet tones of one Ise Nanao, who, by the sound of it (if your eardrums weren't blasted by that yell) is chasing after that sassy little Abra who has her 'Gear. That sassy little Abra also jumped three feet into the air, sending the 'Gear flying in a wide arc, and eventually coming to a convienent landing in a nearby tree. All of route is then treated to the sight of a very flustered Nanao wrapped in a rather familiar haori chasing madly after the cheeky little fox. Cue yakety sax.
{ooc: Hello route! Feel free to reply, laugh, troll or do otherwise. :D Replies could come at any time.}

{Video} jhdsadh comment FAIL
Th-thank you. Ah..
{She turns back to face him, and while her eyes are still glittery-bright with unshed tears, she has tried to compose herself.}
But... How do you know they survived?
[Video] where? /saw nothing
People here...can be brought from different time periods in our world. I know this because I'm from several months after the time you come from, and Matsumoto from later than I.
[....and that sounded a lot better in his head.]
{Video} GOOD imean what
That.. again, taichou, you're not making sense to me at all. That's paradoxical and not at all logical.
{It just didn't make sense.}
Time travel doesn't exist... Unless it does.
[Video]
According to all we know, this world, if not a part of The World of the Living, should not exist. And yet we're both here, solid and real. So why should some kind of time paradox not exist? [He knows his memories. She should know hers, so...]
{Video}
Yes... I suppose that vaguely makes sense... {She knows her memories, but Hitsugaya knows more than her, due to being in the future and arrgh.}
This makes my head hurt. {Blunt Nanao is blunt. Changing tack~!} Taichou, do you know how many others were pulled from their own separate space/time continuums?
{GEEK SPEAK IS A GO GO.}
[Video]
icon face for a moment, then a headshake]
Unfortunately, no. I don't doubt it has happened to others, but I haven't met anyone in similar circumstances. [Just one from an eeriely similar world.]
{Video}
Drat. I had hoped... Never mind. Yet, taichou. Yet. If what we have deduced is indeed correct, then I am surprised no one has, well... 'Changed the future', so to speak.
{Icon faace. Hello, Seireitei's second best poker face!}
[Video]
I doubt it's not for lack of trying. I've heard of people returning who don't remember being here before, even if they had been here for months.
{Video}
Ghhk- This- what. No. No. That. AAAAAAAHHHHH.
{Yes, that was the sound of Nanao's brain breaking. Have fun with that, Hitsugaya c: }
[Video]
[Just....sitting here. Psyduck is making confused noises at all the noise from the gear, but Hitsugaya? Saying nothing and just...waiting this out. Calm down, woman.]
{Video}
daskjfs - That, I, I, Captain, I'm sorry.
{She's kind of. Flailing around and verbally keysmashing. So Kiyone the Abra sneaks forward and picks up the 'Gear.
This could take a while.}
[Video]
It's fine. [Better than his moping, at least.
He's normally patient with normally logical people, so he'll just sit back and wait for her to calm down, in case there's something else he can answer.]
{Video}
Thank you, Captain. {She looks up at the sky - the sun is slowly sliding westward.} I think I should move on, and try and find shelter for the coming night. If what you said is true, I could be out here for a while.
Kiyone, come back here - {She stops. Did she just -? Yeah. She did. And she's surprisingly cool with it.}
Abra?
[Video]
Take stock of the supplies you have before you move on. The last thing you need is to be caught unawares in a storm.
{Video} asgd this is backdated to xmas day, btw.
I shall do that. I checked the weather reports, though, and they said it should be fine until New Year's Eve...
Captain, what's the date?
[Video]
December twenty-fifth. You should be in Cherrygrove before the snow comes again before New Years if you leave soon.
{Video}
Gfasjk..! Christmas day?! You've got to be joking.
Well, I started walking this morning, and Kiyone seems to know where he's going... It could take a while, if what you said about these distances are correct.
{She slings the bag over her back}
[Video] See? Now that's a comment fail up there. /otl
And not saying "I don't joke." again, either.]
The later routes are longer. The only way to Violet City from Cherrygrove takes a week or longer.
{Video} WHAT FAIL. srsly, where is it.
That is a bit ridiculous. {aaaand starting to walk through the snow} With the way the weather is going, I might see you in person in the middle of January, taichou!
[Video] HTML that I closed but didn't start. ^^;;
Just be grateful you weren't here ten days ago. That blizzard lasted for nearly three days and trapped most everyone inside.
{Video} I see...
Three days... Captain, we've had worse blizzards than that in the Seireitei and Rukongai before.
[Video]
{Video}
...some of those were downright awful, though. {Three weeks was the longest one that she had ever experienced, and the Hollows had come right up to the 27th District}
[Video]
Hollows are simpler to deal with than those blizzards were.
{Video}
That's true. Still, at least Kyouraku-taichou couldn't actually avoid the paperwork...
