Hello Route. Look at your Pokemon. Now back to me. Look closely at what's on your screen. It's an Abra!

...why is there an Abra holding a PokeGear. Hmm. Listen closely to the speaker. Verrrry closely. Apart from the squeaking sounds of fresh, virgin snow being trodden on, and happy little "Abra!" sounds from the fox-like Pokemon, there seems to be something else....

"GIVE THAT BACK NOW!"

Ah, yes. The sweet dulcet tones of one Ise Nanao, who, by the sound of it (if your eardrums weren't blasted by that yell) is chasing after that sassy little Abra who has her 'Gear. That sassy little Abra also jumped three feet into the air, sending the 'Gear flying in a wide arc, and eventually coming to a convienent landing in a nearby tree. All of route is then treated to the sight of a very flustered Nanao wrapped in a rather familiar haori chasing madly after the cheeky little fox. Cue yakety sax.

{A similar sigh from this end. Nanao looks tired. Not as in the usual overwork way, but in another way. There are shadows under her eyes that weren't there a day ago, and her posture is just the tiniest, eensiest bit slumped.}

I suppose I shall. I hope it does listen. It seems smart, but it doesn't want to listen to me, apparently.

{It should be mention that at this point the Abra knows more about the 'Gear then she does, and she still doesn't really know where she is.}

{She's nervous, and still half-believes that this is some wicked experiment of Kurotsuchi's. Her next words are barely more than a whisper.}

[A moment of silence, before the feed turns from Voice to Video. He's just...sitting on the windowsill, looking fine if not a little unhappy. It's no experiment, Ise. If it was....well, it wouldn't be pretty. But, despite the look on his face, his voice is gentle as it's going to get from him.]

This place is called Johto. It's nowhere near the Seireitei or the World of the Living, I'm afraid.

{A deep exhale from Nanao. He was real, and that was a weight off her mind, for there surely would have been some sign if this had not been real. She digested his words carefully, turned them round inside her head, measured them.}

How is that even possible? There are only five planes of existence: The Spirit World, The Realm of the Living, Hueco Mundo, the Space Between Worlds, and the King's Realm. There is no sixth plane or dimension, it's as simple as that.

{She doesn't accept that simple explanation, Hitsugaya. She knows this stuff isn't possible, by any law.}

It... doesn't make sense. This place...

{She stands, shaking her head. She looks so very confused - after all this place defies logic on a regular basis, and she is very logical.}

It can't be real! And yet, I'm standing here, and I know I exist...!

[He only shakes his head. There is no sixth dimension, and yet they're both here. It's not as simple as things appear.]

Consider it another part of The World of the Living for now, Ise-fukutaicho. Trying to uncover what it truly is won't get you anywhere at the moment. [Anywhere but sick, that is. Cold snow is cold for the rest of the world, and him now. He sighs after a moment. Give her time to think and this is what happens.]

There should be a book among your things that will explain parts of this place, but you should get moving before the weather acts up again.

{Another icy wind rolls through the clearing, sending little flurries of ice skirling around the kneeling figure of Ise. She shivers, but is too lost in thought to really notice it.}

One last question, if I may, Hitsugaya-taichou... How far is it from "New Bark Town" to the next settlement? I'd like to make it there before nightfall if at all possible.

[Tiny little headshake.] It's a three day walk to the next town. I'm not sure if you've noticed, but here we're unable to use any reiatsu. You won't be able to use shunpo and cut your travel time here.

{A grimace. Three days...}

I had noticed, as the first thing I tried to do was a Shakkaho to try and clear the snow from my path.

{She looks towards the Abra}

I noticed that this Pokemon can apparently use Shunpo or some varient therein to move from place to place. Perhaps it could be of some use...

[Better get moving. The later routes only get longer.]

If you can get it to settle down and work with you, perhaps. I wouldn't count on it, though.

That's looking like a very rare thing, seeing as it has a habit of disappearing on me. Which is a pity, really.

There are three ways of contacting someone with this device. Video, Voice, and a Text function. All three channels can be locked to a certain person or broadcast to everyone that has a device. There should be further instruction in your handbook, but don't count on it making sense. [Lock codes, text codes, font codes...the hell if it makes sense.]/small>

Kyouraku-taicho can be rather hard to forget. [For the sheer number of times he's gotten Matsumoto drunker than a skunk, at least. His battle skills aren't anything to sneeze at, either.]
