They're probably just sending people home in a larger batch than usual. If you're not gone, that's proof. People usually disappear around the same time.

But when the texts from Nanao hit the network, he knows that's not going to happen and he seeks her out, finally coming to the shore and walking up to stand a few paces behind her. She might not have heard his approach over the sound of the waves, but...]

I wouldn't count on all of us going home, Ise. Just because a large group has left doesn't mean we all will.
