[France is dressed warm for the winter weather and had originally headed down to the beach intending to give his Cecilia some time to herself to swim in the surf. When he spots Nanao, he makes his way over, a friendly smile on his face.]

[His expression becomes gentler as he comes to stand next to her, hands in his coat pockets.]

[France fishes Cecelia's pokeball out of his pocket and releases her over the surf. The Milotic trills happily, moving into the water with relish. France pockets her ball again, breathing out a misty breath in the cold air.]

The amount of people leaving is rather odd. This didn't happen last year.

[Canada disappeared not long after this time last year, though. The thought makes France feel rather melancholy.]

This place never fails to avoid making any sense at all.
