twenty-fourth form; waking up sore {Accidental Video/Action for Ecruteak Inn}

Kiyone gently runs a three-fingered hand over his unstirring mistress’ bandaged head, delicately trying to probe into her mind, but upon being blocked once again by a mysterious barrier, he sighs and gets up, wandering over to the window. Shinrai moves closer to Nanao’s unmoving form and squeaks as the elder Pokemon throws wide the curtains, letting beams of summer sunlight flood the room, gilding everything inside with a welcome warmth.

Ri? Rioluuuu.

Kiyone looks back over his shoulder at the baby ‘Mon, and smiles gently. It had not been an easy time for the youngest member of Nanao’s party, but the Riolu was nothing if not resilient. Even if he couldn’t walk. After Envy’s Pokemon had brought them into Ecruteak, Shinrai had tearfully explained what had happened to them, and to say they were unhappy was an understatement.

Aaaala. Kazam.

Shinrai smiled back, and threw his arms into the air, giggling. The noise woke Hanatarou, who had been curled up atop a nearby chair, and she stretched, before slithering off the chair and flowing like a furry river up onto the bed, and nuzzled the young Riolu, and he giggled again. Then he stopped, and cocked his head to the side.

{There’s a deep, pained-sounding groan coming from somewhere to the left of the ‘Gear, and the sound of shifting sheets.}

wh-where am I.... s’too bright... {A whimper, more rustling sounds, and then a yelp, and a thud.}

O-owwwww.... {There’s a sob, and then the camera finally moves, and Nanao comes into view, far too pale, wrapped in bedsheets, and with bandages wrapped around her head.}

I - I feel sick...


{OOC: Nanao is awake! But she’s also suffering the side effects of a severe concussion, so any ‘Gear replies will be rather nonsensical. She’s in a room at the Ecruteak Inn, so if you’re in the building, feel free to have your characters drop by.}

[When Envy sees the video, he pretty much has to sneak past Nurse Joy out of the Pokemon Center--although he does leave a note for Tulio saying that he'll be back--, but he's recovered enough to make the walk to the inn with some support from Chimera and Lucky. He asks the front desk where to find Nanao's room and gets himself on up there, opening the door without knocking. At least he doesn't burst in.]

{You won't see her right away. In fact, you'd be lucky to see anything at all, because in the time it takes for him to escape from the Pokemon Center, the room has been plunged into seeming darkness.}

{But with the light from the hallway, he'll be able to make out a very rumpled bed, and tangled sheets spread all over the floor, making a kind of path that leads to Nanao's crumpled form in the open doorway to the bathroom.}

E-envy? 'sthat you? {Yeah. That slurring speech doesn't sound good. At all.}

[Why does this always happen to him? More importantly, why hasn't he taught himself how to first-aid yet? He goes over to her quickly, crouching down to see if he can get a better look at her.] What happened?

{That ray of light from the corridor does illuminate the room somewhat, and it reveals one Furret (Hanatarou) curled in an unhappy looking pile in front of the open bathroom door, blocking the view in. Nanao's other Pokemon are nowhere to be seen.}
