seventeenth form; breaking the law for a just cause {Action/Video/Text}

It was well past midnight, and all was quiet throughout the Pokemon Center. A few of the Nurses were patrolling the corridors. Then, at the foot of the steps to the ICU, one of them pauses, and looks quizzically at the door to a storage closet. It seems to be slightly ajar, and so she steps over to it.

Tentatively, she opens it, and calls out softly. There's no reply, but a lightish lump in the middle of the floor catches her attention. She gropes for the light switch, and shuts her eyes against the harsh fluorescent glare. When she cracks them open, however, she gasps in shock - two nurses and a Blissey are slumped on the floor - and they aren't moving.

She turns to call for help, but jumps when she sees that Ise lady standing there, cradling what looks to be a baby Lapras. She sighs in relief - she can trust Nanao, she's been working here for over a month now, surely she can help -

"Hana, use Sing on the Nurse." Her eyes widen in horror, as the Lapras squeaks, and begins a calming melody, one that sinks into her ears, lowering her eyelids. Just before she drifts off, she can only think of how nice it is that she didn't use PoisonPowder.

The nurse slides down onto the floor, and Nanao makes sure to check she's breathing, before seizing the IV stand from beside the door and hurrying upstairs, returning Hana to her ball. She spares only a glance for the security camera that focuses on the locked door to the Intensive Care Unit as she wedges the stem of the stand under the handle, and wrenches with all her might.

The handle flies off, and hits Renji on the nose, and he growls warningly, but she's already disappeared into the sterile atmosphere of the ICU, and to the bedside of the only inhabitant of the ward. Carefully, she removes all the tubes and wires, wrapping puncture marks with all the care of the nurse she has been for all this time.

He's breathing on his own, which is a relief, and she slips him into the sling that hangs around her body, before bolting out the door, taking the steps three at a time, ignoring the alarms which have started ringing at the nurses' stations. She turns a corner, and there stands Hanatarou, eyeing off the stairs which lead into the lobby.

She leaps down them, and darts out of the door, running into the night.

{There's a jumble of sound and light, and the rather distinctive roar of the Kangaskhan Police.} Damnit, I didn't think they'd be here this fast!

{More dull thuds happen, and several shouted commands, before a huge billowing smoke cloud erupts from the upper right corner of the 'Gear, and slowly spreads across the screen.} Good boy, Renji! Let's go.

{The sound of the Kangaskhan Police soon fades, and then there's only the sound of running feet, and the feed times out to the view of a pair of trainer-clad feet, a tail tipped with flame, and the undulating frame of a Furret.}

I seem to be on the run from the law. How long before they stop looking for me?

{Nanao has rather obviously broken the law, and is running south to Ilex Forest to avoid the long paw of the Kangaskhan Police. Feel free to tag all over this - if they saw her running through Goldenrod, running towards Ilex, were at the Pokemon Centre etc. Also mod-approved!}
