{That and she is going to have to make a heroic sacrifice if she doesn't want her tiny tennisball bird to become crispy fried. Guess which choice she makes.}

{There's a crackle of thunder and lightning, the bird goes flying in one direction (knocked out, but only partially crispy), and Nanao gets to experience what it's like when you're hit by ten Thunder Waves at once.}

My group was supposed to meet there. It took some time for everyone to arrive.

I think no one has been that unlucky yet, but there have been cases of showers and baths caught by Pokémon. Who knows what will happen next?

Let's just pray that it never does happen, otherwise I may find myself with an armload of unresponsive adoptive children.

I've no doubt most of the teenagers I know would join them. It is our duty to keep their young minds safe.

And here I thought "oh, this is something I'll never have to do"...

No one ever expects having to be the responsible adult.

Oh, responsible adult I'm fine with. It's the stopping of corruption of innocent eyes that's the annoying bit.

Ideally there would be no corruption threatening them in the first place, but no world is perfect.
