Good afternoon, Johto. {This, for once, appears to be an actual deliberate post from Nanao, which is new.} Or, I should rather say, people in and around the Goldenrod area.

Consider this an offer for afternoon tea, at my house. It has been quite some time since I have had a nice, quiet, normal chat with someone, and I'd appreciate the company.

Please reply to this if you are interested, as I'm not about to give out my address in an open post.

{She goes to turn the 'Gear off, when there's a loud 'Speeaaar!' in the background, and she brings it back up again.}

_{[So. Tulio isn't the most technology-savvy person in Johto (as established from a previous conversation and all) but he accidentally turned on the reply-feed in video-mode when he had to sort of grip the gear harder in pure flashback agony.]

[You. You did things. ... he's not entirely sure what, but he's hit with this feeling of Do Not Want so excuse him while he eyes the feed with narrowed eyes without saying anything and trying to figure this turn out.]

{When Tulio appears on the screen, she opens her mouth to say hello, when she notices his murderous expression, and closes it again in confusion.}

Tulio? What's the matter?

{She doesn't remember much at all, only the thrum of her power and the memory of moving something living about.}

_{[Oh, he recalls being moved about. It's coming back to him in short bursts, even if it's quite blurry and sort of messy right now.]

[When she adresses him he looks startled for a moment, not realizing the feed was on, before he opens his mouth ... and closes it again. And then points at her (well, the gear) in a highly accusing fashion.]}

You ... you did things, didn't you.

_{[Voice kinda tense. Even if he's not 100% sure what he's referring to.]}

{What is he going on about? Surely she couldn't have...}

I - I don't know, Tulio, I - I don't remember....

{She's getting a horrible feeling in the pit of her stomach.}

Well, what I'm getting here is that I don't like you. And I'm pretty sure I have a good reason.

_{[He makes little breaks after a lot of words in that sentence, to jab them across. Yeah, he can hold grudges. Even if he's only just discovering them.]

[And then he narrows his eyes as he suddenly recalls-!]}

I - I'm sorry, Tulio, I don't - what.

{There's a pause in which her face goes absolutely white, and her mouth drops open, and her eyes widen in horror.}

I - I can't here, though, I can't, I don't have - ! Oh King in Heaven, what have I done?!

{She's panicking now, and she sinks to her knees, breaths coming fast and light. This is something that she had never anticipated.}

_{[No wait wait wait that isn't how it's supposed to go. If he gets angry with you you're supposed to be angry back so there can be a shouting match and everyone are happy.]

[You're not supposed to go into a panic mode and instant regret. ...that just throws him off.]

[So have a kind of ... slow blink, before he rolls his eyes, going from angry to pure annoyance. God dammit.]}

Yeah, why don't you explain that to me, huh, Nanao?

{Sorry, Tulio, but Nanao's moods can go from Blank to "AFDJFHGFJHDSGKLSKA" in 0.002 seconds.}

{S-still panicking a bit, and is curled against a wall, 'Gear cradled in her lap.}

I-I know that back home, in Soul Society, I have what you would call magic. B-but I can't use it here, otherwise I - I'd remember, Tulio, and I don't!

_{[Yeah, he NOTICED. :| Women are strange. He will never understand them.]

[But don't let him have to comfort you again. Wow, this is the weirdest relationship he's got here. And possibly ever. Which is why he stays away from people normally.]}

Well a ton of people suddenly don't remember anything. So that doesn't exactly make you special.

{This is odd for her too, okay? And she just shivers, and draws in.}

I - I know that, but there would be... signs that I would recognise if I had somehow been able to use them!

Maybe because everyone got amnesia! Doesn't mean your floating-puppet-thing didn't happen.

{She'll just... clam up like a Cloyster at that.}

{She looks like a kicked puppy. Tulio, what have you got to say for yourself.}

{Looking away now - she feels horrible.}

[okay, fine. There's a sort of halfway facepalm and a groan and then he'll just grumble beneath his breath about it.]}

{And then she looks up to the camera and is that a glimmer of tears maybe it is and maybe it isn't - }

I can't, and I won't, Tulio. I promise you.

_{[Woah woah woah - he saw that. ...it sort of shocks him into silence.]}

[- just another moment, and then ... yeah, he's not the kind to say sorry. Like, ever. So change of subject? Works much better.]

That's ... good. SO _{[clears throat, god he's so bad at this]} what was that about tea?

{You get a soft smile at that change of subject, Tulio.}

Of course. If you'd like an afternoon tea, feel free to swing by my house. I have the kettle on.

_{[Whew - crisis averted. Crying Women Part Two was nothing he was looking forward to, so he smiles slightly - part relief, part return of hers, part 'heh' sort of thing - and rubs his neck, disguising a sigh from that relief.]

[...except now he feels obligated to go. Sob. Nothing really ever goes according to his plans anymore, but he supposes it wouldn't be too bad. He supposes.]}

{She stands up, and walks over to the front door.}

If you follow the road south out of Goldenrod, you'll see a path that leads towards the beach. Follow that, and you won't be able to miss it.

_{[He nods, slowly, looking a little awkward- but yeah, okay. He's nestled himself in and it's easier to roll with it.]}

Right. I guess I'll ... see you later.

_{[Which, some time later, knock on the door and god how do I socialize-Tulio.]}

{Tulio, once you dig yourself a hole, it's easier just to keep digging.}

{And she'll be at the door, smiling pleasantly at him.}

{It's just a bungalow, and as such is quite small, but it feels lived in. There's a rug on the floor, and a Riolu asleep on the rug as they walk into the kitchen/living area, and she laughs.}
