{When the feed flicks on at first, there's a sleeping Nanao with an Eevee standing on her chest. It seems that the feed has been activated by the Eevee jumping up onto the bed. But something's wrong - although she's breathing, Nanao is too still. She's not reacting at all to having a foxthing on her chest.}

{Something's wrong. Very wrong.}

{The Eevee jumps off and runs to alert someone - anyone about this, bumping into the 'Gear and turning it off.}

{Now, when the feed clicks on, there's an Alakazam looking back, a serious look on his face. By his shoulder, a pad of paper floats, along with a blue marker pen. He narrows his eyes, and the pen's cap comes away, and it starts moving across the paper in thick, even strokes, spelling out a message.}

My mistress has entered a coma. Her mind cannot be reached by psychic means, and I do not know when she will wake, or if she will wake again.

If you wish to see her, she is in the Goldenrod Pokemon Center.

{OOC Note: Kiyone the Alakazam is a telepath, and can write and think in English/whatever language they speak in Johto!}

[ He had received the message, gotten it translated and after getting the gist of it, stepped out of his current room and headed towards the center. It was not only a polite concern, but a duty to check up on her anyways.

He'll be around, asking for her status. ]

{If he asks the nurses, all he'll get is a rather vague "Well, she's in a coma, and we don't quite know how she fell into it." Hmmm.}

{However, if he chooses to enter her room, he'll find her in a bed, with Kiyone the Alakazam floating next to the window.}

[It doesn't matter that Envy's sick, as soon as he saw this he was up and stumbling out into the halls to find her room. He...probably shouldn't be, but to hell with that he is the strongest homunculus and the flu can't stop him! It does take him longer than it should to get to her room, but he manages.]

[Aaand has to sit down in a chair once he gets inside but details details he found his surrogate sister. He leans over to check that's she's breathing because you never know it could be like last time.]

{Oh Envy, you're the best deadbro a girl could wish for.}

{He'll see that she's breathing, happily enough. Also, don't mind Kiyone there.}

[Envy has never really gotten used to that whole 'talking psychic' thing, and he can't say he's very fond of it either. He half-startles, but tries to retain some semblance of dignity.]

Yeah, I saw you over there.

[He's worried, even if it doesn't show much on his face.] This looks like one of those comas where you go home.

{Hmmm. Kiyone thinks this over for a bit.}

Does it? I would not know, although she has apparently been through one of these before.

[Envy nods.]

She has, I was the one who brought her to the Center that time. And if it's anything like then, or when one of these happened to me, she'll be awake in a week.

{As odd as it is to see, Kiyone does a half-bow from his floating position.}

Then I must thank you for taking care of her. She can be... impulsive, upon occasion.

_{[Man what is going on why is everyone falling sick and more-than-sick around him. 8( He's getting worried that it's a symptom of the many disappearances lately, so when he goes to check on Nanao he almost doesn't WANT to, because it could mean a great deal of things and he doesn't want to ... see if it's true.]

[It takes him a while to recover but when he does he tries to do so gracefully, but he's definitely not eloquent. He didn't hear the words, just the voice in his head.]}

[Oh, for the love of--can that woman not keep herself out of trouble? That's the thought going through his head on the entire train ride back to Goldenrod from Saffron, but there's also a lot of concern knocking about his mind as he gets to the Center and finds her room.

He doesn't hesitate when it comes to entering, but when he gets in he stops. What is he doing here? What is there that he can do? Nothing at all. Why is he even here...]

[Kiyone's tone may not be reproving, but it earns him a look from the corner of Hitsugaya's eye. No teleporting for humans without psychic types, sadly.]

Pardon me for having had business to finish in Saffron.

[And with that, he just settles in for the long haul. Maybe he doesn't know why he's even here, but he's staying. That might just count for something.]

{He twirls a spoon idly between his fingers.}

...That would explain her reaction to my return here.

[He guides his wheelchair in the direction of Nanao's room. She would usually be up at this hour. He knocks once.]

{Have a panicking Glaceon and a not-quite-panicking Eevee bursting through the door. Good luck understanding them, though.}

[Hey, watch the leg! Lucky for him he was getting ready to wheel himself in the direction of his room. He stares down at the two with lifted eyebrows before moving himself into Nanao's room and stops at her bedside.]

Nanao, you're oversleeping.

[When there's no reaction, he gently shakes her.] Nanao.

[When he still gets no reaction, even when he starts to shake her a little more roughly (because he's getting worried), he checks for a pulse. Still there. Then he remembers.]

I see, now.

[He experienced the same thing last year, around April.]

{Have two very :C pokemon looking up at you.}

[He looks down at them.]

She's alright, don't worry. Though it would probably be better if we took her to the Center. I need help getting her there, though.

[Because his wheelchair is made to carry one person only. He could have Lien-Hua carry Nanao on her back, but he had to get her out of the house first...]

[It didn't take seeing that message for very long before Yosuke dropped everything he was doing to run to the Pokémon Center. Would she be okay? Probably... it's not like this is a new phenomenon.]

[Not that is makes things any less frustrating or upsetting.]

D-Dammit, Nanao... [He's choking the words out. That barrier has officially been crossed -- no family name, no suffix. Serious business, right here.]

{There's an Alakazam floating, but his posture is slumped, and even his mustache is drooping.}

{Kind of. The thing about telepaths is that they pick up on emotions as well as thoughts, and all the sad feels floating around aren't very fun to pick up on.}

{The camera pans to show the bed, and Nanao's unmoving form, before it switches back to the Alakazam. The top sheet on the pad of paper rips off, and the marker starts to move again.}

Unfortunately, she cannot hear you. She is entirely unresponsive.

I see. She has not disappeared but ... is unresponsive ...

[ This had happened to so many of her friends before. She was not surprised, but she was still worried and sad because there were cases when they never woke up and simply disappeared. ]

Please take care of her ...

[ Orihime didn't know Nanao very well- acquaintances, at the very best. Still... Nanao is someone from her home world, someone that Orihime wanted to get to know better.

And even if she didn't know Nanao at all, this is still painful to see. It's times like these when Orihime wishes she still had her powers. ]

{Kiyone just looks back calm, thinking. After a while, the top piece of paper on the pad tears away, and the marker pen moves across the new page.}

[ Watches as the marker moves on its own. She'd be surprised had the circumstances been different, but she's too focused on the situation at-hand to be shocked by the Alakazam's abilities. ]
