{When the camera flicks on, it's at an odd angle, and the face of a baby Houndour fills the screen. Once it realises that it managed to activate the video function, it wuffs quietly, and picks up the camera. Upside down.

When it puts it down again, however, the viewers are treated to a view of a clearing, filled with spring blossoms and soft looking tussocks of grass. A makeshift shelter is just visible in the corner of the screen, however, what catches the attention of anyone looking at the feed is right in the centre of the screen.

There's a woman in white sitting by a stream, with a baby Lapras on her lap. Long black hair flows down her back, and around her are clustered a motley collection of other Pokemon; a Furret, Charmeleon, Happiny, and a Riolu, all slumped in the grass, like some strange collection of statues.

A breeze catches the hair of the woman, and as it flutters, her face becomes clear - it's Ise Nanao. She's obviously found sanctuary in Ilex Forest, but those radio waves must have found her, and her little Lapras, yet the Lapras seems to be sleeping... or fainted.}

I'm so sorry, Hana, but... it is for the best. At least that strange sound cannot affect you now.

{The Houndour puppy whines unhappily, and yelps. For those that can understand Pokemon, it's something along the lines of 'Can you help mama? She's sad, and I don't like that.' Unfortunately, the noise attracts the attention of the Charmeleon, and it lumbers over to the 'Gear. The puppy growls, and backs away, hackles up, ears down, tail between his legs.}

Renji, don't. Just bring the 'Gear and Shuuhei over here, please. {Renji rumbles, but leans down, and scoops up Shuuhei in one clawed paw, before, picking the 'Gear up with the other. He deposits the pup at her knees, and hands the 'Gear back to Nanao. When she sees the 'Gear is on, she gasps, and fumbles for the off switch.}

Bad Houndour! You know we're in hiding! I'd rather not be jailed, thanks. {And the feed finally clicks off there.}

{ooc: Nanao is stuck in Ilex Forest, which is very much not fun for her, especially now that her Lapras has made itself faint. Feel free to tag, but they will probably be by text, unless you're a canonmate or close CR.}

According to what I've heard, roughly two weeks. Which means I have a little over a week to go. Apparently, there's an odd sound which is affecting Water-Type Pokemon - it makes them really quite aggressive.

[Shinjiro isn't about to take offense here. He knows he doesn't exactly look... trustworthy, on a good day.]

Well... The last time something like this happened, it was apparently due to Team Rocket. I guess that they're behind this, too.

Only if their Pokemon were Water-Types as well. I think. None of my other Pokemon were affected.

Quite probably, yes. But I'm not sure about how they'd make it work. I'm not the most technical of people, you see.

That's very true, and unless you're in Goldenrod, I don't think either of us are in a position to do that, unfortunately. Until they deign to turn it off, I guess that we're at their mercy, which is a place that I'd really like not to be.

So we'll pray, and hope that will be enough. I hope so.

Sir, if you'll kindly remember, I am trapped in a forest until my warrant expires. It is impossible for me to do such a thing at the moment.

If we're lucky, it will be over by then. I am thinking, and anything I could think to do would involve me being in Goldenrod, which is patently not going to happen any time soon!

{A short while later, a second text comes through.}

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to snap at you. It seems my situation is getting to me a little.

[And he'll just stop here, before he puts his foot in his mouth some more.]

All the Water-Type and part Water-Type Pokemon have gone... mad, to put it lightly.

Even this little one did a lot of damage, before we... had to knock her out.
