{Merry Christmas, members of Nanao's failmily! Hope you're ready for your presents, because some of them are lying at the foot of your beds, neatly wrapped. How did they get there? Nobody knows how they got there (hint: psychics), but that's where they are when you wake up. Oh, and what is that delicious smell coming from the downstairs kitchen? It's the beginning of a massive feast of food - and oh my god, where on earth did she hide all of this there is so much food. Everything's decked out in bunting and decorations and there's even a tree, all decorated in silver and gold. Coincidentally, this is also where the rest of the presents are, all labelled and wrapped. There's even some sneakily hidden mistletoe put up by meddling Pokemon.}

{Nanao herself is at the stove, apron on over a new dress, stirring a pot of... wine? Yep, that'd be mulled wine.}

Merry Christmas - please, grab a plate and help yourself!

{Pastries and coffees and tea and eggs benedict and bacon and fruit and oh my god how much food has she made?! Your challenge, if you choose to accept it, is to try and eat as much as possible while saving space for lunch/dinner.}

{The table is literally groaning under the weight of delicious breakfast foods. Pancakes, sausages, ham, turkey... You name it, it's probably on the table.}

{After everyone's been stuffed to the brim with food and sort of rolls over to the couches, it's time to open what presents weren't left by the end of your beds!}

{Now that presents have been unwrapped and admired and tried on, it's time to eat. There's a delicious glazed and baked ham, as well as a roast turkey, and all the things that go with them, as well as salads, soups, and little delicious sweets - and of course, those ridiculous christmas crackers with dinky toys, paper crowns, and pokemon-themed jokes.}

{There's alcohol for the adults and those young ones sly and skilled enough to sneak some on the side.}

{Since everyone has been stuffed to the literal brim, dinner's just basically leftovers, but even those are delicious. Now is a time for vaguely drunken musings and pensive staring at things, and possibly christmas kisses, now that everyone's fairly drunk.}

[Envy's pretty sure this is the best Christmas he's ever had in all four centuries of his life. He's also had a few drinks by now, and has taken a break from hanging off of people and being noisy to stand in front of Nanao's piano and look at it consideringly. He remembers he used to play for people back when they still celebrated this holiday...maybe he should now too.]
